Dr Marie C. Ingle Veterinarian – Qualifications (DVM & Owner)

About
Dr Marie C. Ingle Veterinarian is the founder, owner, and Medical Director at Cainhoy Veterinary Hospital (CVM). After spending the last 6 years as a partner and Medical Director at Sangaree Animal Hospital (AH) at Cane Bay in Summerville, SC, she found the opportunity to open a new hospital too enticing to resist. The Cainhoy area is an exciting, diverse & growing community, & not to mention, a shorter commute!

A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Dr. Ingle received both her B.S. and M.S. in Animal Science from North Carolina State University (SU). After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, School of Vet Medicine in 2001, Dr. Marie worked as an equine veterinarian for seven years before transitioning to small animal general practice. Geriatric pets, cranky cats & itchy dogs have a special place in her heart. She enjoys the continual learning needed to stay current and provide excellent care and that vet medicine offers so many opportunities for medical & professional growth.

Ingle is a friendly Veterinarian & is a member of the American Vet Medical Assoc, South Carolina Vet Association, & Trident Veterinary Medical Association. Just recently, she stepped off the Women’s Vet Leadership Betterment Initiative Board of Directors to focus on her new hospital. Dr Marie Veterinarian and her family live in the Charleston area and enjoy the beaches, waterways & many family activities available. Her 2 cats, Martin and Margaret, are pandemic adoptees & have brought much joy into the household.
