Dr Jennie Hughes Veterinarian originally joined Cherrydale Veterinary Clinic as a technician while she worked tirelessly to obtain her license. Dr. Hughes graduated as a Veterinarian from the University of Liverpool, UK in 2005. She worked for 10 years as a small animal veterinary surgeon in the Middle East before relocating to the U.S. with her husband, 3 cats, 2 dogs & 2-month-old son.
Dr Jennie Hughes Veterinarian brings with her a wide range of skills and experience and has a great interest in all things surgical as well as diagnostic imaging. She has also had the opportunity to work with a wide array of exotic animals, ranging from hamsters, rabbits, turtles & parrots, to cheetahs and orangutans. She has recently completed training as a Cat-Friendly Veterinary Professional and now acts as Cherrydale Veterinary Clinic’s own Cat Advocate.
