About
Dr Cherish Frates Veterinarian grew up on the mainland, but she is pleased to have called Hawaii home the longest. She worked on a horse farm in Virginia for a few years before obtaining her BS in Biology from UH—Manoa. She left Hawaii to attend vet school in New York but quickly realized that Hawaii was home. She is passionate about surgery and enjoys the opportunity to help animals & their families with their veterinary needs.
She enjoys working with animals of all shapes & sizes. In her free time, she enjoys the blue water and amazing hiking of Oahu with her husband, three kids, and her two dogs, five cats, three birds, and 50+ fish.
