About
Dr Caitlin Wamelink Veterinarian grew up in Cleveland Heights with her parents, her sister, & their 2 cats. When she was younger, she also participated in on horseback riding. Dr Caitlin Wamelink Veterinarian attended Tulane University of New Orleans (NO) where she attained a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology & Cell and Molecular Biology. She then completed her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University in 2018. While attending veterinary school, Dr Caitlin Wamelink Veterinarian was actively mixed up with the Shelter Medicine Club & VBMA, a student-led Veterinary Business Management Association.
Dr Caitlin Wamelink Veterinarian is a member of the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, The American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Her special interests comprised feline medicine, small mammal exotic medicine, & behavior medicine.
While not caring for pets at Avon Lake Animal Clinic, Dr Caitlin Wamelink Veterinarian spends her time with her two cats Dinah and Alice. She also enjoys spending time with her family on the east side, traveling, going to Indian games, and doing activities such as rowing and cycling.
