Doctor Robert Fryer Veterinarian – Qualifications (DVM)
Qualifications: DVM.
About Doctor Robert Fryer Veterinarian
Calusa welcomes Dr. Robert Fryer to our ever-growing family. As you meet him, we’re sure that you will be as charmed with him as we are. His friendly demeanor, his comforting & compassionate way, & his enduring patience make him the ideal care provider for your beloved furry family members.
Born and raised in Ohio, Dr. Fryer received his Bachelor of Science degree in zoology & psychology from Ohio Wesleyan University before entering The Ohio State University College of Vet Medicine, where he earned his DVM degree in 1998. Upon graduation, he practiced in Las Vegas & San Diego, before becoming owner and operator of his practice in Ojai, California where he practiced both general and emergency medicine. With South Florida beckoning, he departed “SoCal” and brought his years of expertise to Palm Beach County, & ultimately to our Calusa team.
When not ensconced in veterinary practice, Doctor Fryer spends his free time scuba diving & sailing, often in far-off romantic dives destined, such as Belize, the Sea of Cortez, & Fiji, and has improved a love for shark diving! We are not in a rush to lose him, so we do our best to encourage him toward less thrilling hobbies & are happy to find that he also finds satisfaction just hanging out at the beach, swimming, & bike riding, fine dining, & fine wines. He is an avid fan of college football & professional hockey & should be able to get his fill of both locally.
