About Doctor Courtney Glotzer Veterinarian
Dr. Courtney Glotzer is a South Florida native. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Animal Science from the University of Vermont (UV). She then proceeded to acquire her Master of Science degree at Tufts University in Animals & Public Policy. In 2024, Courtney received her Doctorate of Vet Medicine Cum Laude Honors from St. George’s University & her clinical training from the University of Florida (UF).
Throughout her studies, she has worked with a plethora of animals ranging from dogs, cats, exotics, wildlife, as well as farm pets. During her schooling, Dr. Glotzer became very interested in shelter, wildlife, emergency medicine, & general practice. She extended and worked at several places throughout New England and Florida, but her favorites include South Florida Wildlife Center, Broward County Humane Society & of course, Calusa Veterinary Center.
During her time at St. George’s University, she started a student-run organization that she named WAG (Wellness, Aid & Guidance) which provided support for both owned and homeless animals that needed advanced medical treatment in Grenada. Dr. Glotzer is extremely passionate about helping rescue pets & finding them loving homes. During her free time, you can find her at the dog sea beach with her Coonhound named Oakley or playing with her cat, named Moo. Dr. Glotzer is ecstatic to have joined the Calusa Vet team, as she long admired their skill set, compassion, & loyalty to animals & their owners.
