About
Dr Dana Isard Veterinarian wanted to be a veterinarian since childhood but took a few detours on the path there. Her passion is helping anxious or fearful patients and their guardians navigate veterinary care and home environments. She is passionate about breed advocacy and educating guardians on humane training methods. Dr Dana Isard Veterinarian was inspired to pursue a position at our practice because she wanted to join a compassionate, collaborative team dedicated to practicing gold-standard medicine. In vet medicine, you are never done learning & she is excited to be surrounded by so much experience & knowledge!
She is the fortunate guardian of 2 awesome creatures who both came to her when she was fostering for Michigan Humane. Bruce is her sweet and sensitive pit-mix who happens to love kittens. His love of cats and kittens led to her second foster fail, Margo, a fearless and energetic cat found on the streets of Detroit. Outside of work, she enjoys visiting dog-friendly patios Bruce, & exploring new hiking trails. She also enjoys fostering kittens for the local shelter, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
