About
Dr Mercer Kusie Veterinarian graduated from Texas A&M College of Vet Medicine in 2020. Before vet school, she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2015. She developed a love of working with animals when she started as a Kennel Assistant in high school. While in vet school she went on a trip to South Africa (SA) where she learned about working with wild animals in their native habitats.
In practice, Dr Mercer Kusie Veterinarian especially enjoys developing lasting bonds between her patients & their owners from their first puppy/kitten visits to senior Animal status. Her interests comprised ophthalmology, oncology, feline medicine, & dermatology. In September 2022, Dr. Mercer married her Minnesota native husband, giving her 2 cats, Smudge & Trixie, a new cat dad! In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, cycling, baking, and crafting.
