About Doctor Alexa Rangel Veterinarian
Dr. Rangel is a Miami native with a passion for vet medicine. Graduating from the Western University of Health Sciences College of Vet Medicine in 2020, Doctor Rangel embarked on a journey of specialized training. She completed a rotating internship at Coral Springs Animal Hospital, followed by a critical care specialty internship at the University of Illinois & a cardiology specialty internship at the Vet Cardiopulmonary Care Center in Pompano Beach.
Doctor Rangel’s professional interests include cardiology & emergency and critical care, where she brings skills & dedication to our practice. Outside of work, she likes longboarding, salsa dancing, reading, & spending quality time with her family & friends, together with her best friend Kobe, a short-haired dachshund.
