About Dr Marissa Monopoli Veterinarian
Doctor Marissa Monopoli grew up outside of San Francisco. She received her undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University and returned to California to accomplish her veterinary school education at the University of California, Davis. While in Davis, she developed a passion for disaster medicine & was an active member of the vet emergency response team that deployed to the California wildfires, providing care to avian and small animal patients alike. She is extremely excited to complete her internship at the Animal Medical Center and further her knowledge in small and exotic animal medicine. Dr. Monopoli is particularly interested in radiology and neurology, though she finds joy in the diversity of cases seen in an emergency and general practice setting. Dr. Monopoli enjoys spending time with her eyeless cat Stevie, rollerskating, going to concerts, and exploring New York City in her spare time.
