Dr. Heather Brausa obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine & surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital in New Jersey. She then spent a year at a private practice in Brooklyn, New York. In 2008, Dr. Brausa joined the Community Practice Service at the AMC.
Dr. Brausa is a Long Island native who currently resides in a small Brooklyn apartment with her wife, 2 kiddos, 2 dogs, two cats & a turtle.
