About Dr Daniel Cimino Veterinarian
Doctor Daniel Cimino grew up in New Paltz, New York the youngest of five children. He played football and obtained his undergraduate degree at Ithaca College in 2013 after which he spent a year working in 2 of his hometown vet hospitals gaining additional experience in small and large animal practice. He then went on to obtain his degree in veterinary medicine from Cornell University in 2018, after which he completed a 1-year general internship at the AMC in 2019. He elected to further his education by following a residency in neurology & neurosurgery at Animal Medical Center. Doctor Cimino loves all aspects of vet neurology but is especially interested in neurosurgery & new, up-and-coming minimally invasive techniques to help in the treatment of neurosurgical diseases in companion animals. He is excited to be joining the Neurology Service and to be able to call the AMC home.
In his spare time, Dr. Cimino enjoys spending time with his ever-expanding family (human & animal), cooking, exploring the NY City culinary scene, & staying as active as possible.
